Turning a question into a learning note

A sample learning note built around a question, an experiment and a check.

Daehwan Kim ·

This sample demonstrates the writing format. It does not represent the author's completed work and is excluded from search indexing.

Start with one question

Write down what you want to understand. For example: Can a mean fully describe a dataset?

Try a small example

These datasets have the same mean, but different spreads.

DatasetValuesMean
A4, 5, 65
B0, 5, 105
Python
a = [4, 5, 6]
b = [0, 5, 10]
for values in [a, b]:
    print(sum(values) / len(values))

Decide what to check

  • Keep the input data alongside the result.
  • Separate assumptions from unresolved questions.
  • Link to the relevant official documentation or textbook section.

Write in both languages

Use 한국어 in the navigation to read the Korean version. Each version is a separate Markdown file. The blog does not translate your writing automatically.
